:

Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and, we are looking to hire a Senior HVAC Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Centre.

• Capable of handling multiple projects (such as FEED, Detailed engineering, Residual engineering and vendor engineering)
• Responsible for safe, technically accurate, and cost effective HVAC system designs and deliverables
• Responsible for compliance with applicable specifications and standards, and completion of work within project budget and schedule.
• Supervising and directing a HVAC Engineering Team, and directly performing tasks as required. These tasks include HVAC heat load calculation, System and equipment selecion, HVAC drawings, equipment layout, HVAC P&ID/Control diagrams, HVAC Air flow diagrams, HVAC specification, datasheet and MTO.
• Checking and approval of HVAC deliverables
• Evaluate vendors technical bid offers
• Reviewing with the Project Engineering Manager / Project Engineers all the needs and technical aspects which can affect the schedule of the project.
• Update Progress as per project schedule , provide input for monthly progress reports.
• Review requests for changes and if outside the scope of work, submit to Project Engineering Manager an estimate of man-hours, material, and any impact to schedule.
• Carryout manhour estimations as part of proposal and provide input to execution strategy
• Observing the ethic of confidentiality on technologies licensed by Clients or Third Parties.
• Works within project team environment.
• Capable of handling MEP related scope within the in Oil & Gas projects assigned. These task include Specifications, Water supply layout, Drainage layout, Schematic water supply and drainage diagrams, MTO and vendor document review).
