Core Engineering Role to produce the volume of engineering activities on projects and within the business as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from recognized university
Master degree in relevant discipline will be an added advantage
Knowledge / Experience (Skills):

6 -10 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.

Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):
Assist Lead engineer in the review of Contract Scope of Work, Design Basis, BEDD, Project Specifications, Equipment & Package Data Sheet, Control Room & other Rooms/Shelters Layout & Architectural Drawings, Duct Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs & D&IDs), Plot plans, GA Drawings, Fire & Gas Detection layouts, Philosophies, HSE requirements and other relevant documents.
Review proposal engineering document and assist Lead Engineer in identifying discrepancies and divergences from original proposal and raising technical queries to projects/client.
Assist Lead Engineer in FEED verification & Design Review activities.
Assist Lead Engineer in identifying engineering deliverables, scheduling activities, and preparation of Technical Document Register (TDR) for the Project.
Prepare HVAC Data Sheets & Schematics including equipment sizing, heat load calculations, ventilation calculations, pressurizations calculations etc.
Prepare technical specifications for equipment & package including design conditions, utility requirements, metallurgy specifications, environmental regulations, and equipment interfaces with the plant facility.
Develop HVAC control system operational philosophy and provide I/O point inputs to Vendor for design of HVAC control system. Ensure F&G System & HVAC Control System Interfaces with Instrumentation.
Ensure interfacing & integration of equipment/package with the plant & facilities by issuance of engineering documents for Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC\xe2\x80\x99s), and managing technical interfaces amongst various disciplines by capturing changes as work progresses.
Assist Lead Engineer in Review of engineering documents from other discipline through Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC\xe2\x80\x99s) and provide inputs & comments relevant to HVAC Units and interfacing.
Prepare RFQ (Inquiry Requisitions) of Equipment, perform bid evaluations activity, and prepare Technical Bid Evaluation Report (TBE) for review and approvals.
Prepare Purchase Requisition (Technical), finalise Supplier Document requirement, and participate in KOM with Suppliers.
Arrange IDC Review of Supplier Drawings & Documents by other disciplines. Review Supplier Drawing & Documents and provide comments on QA/QC documents. Ensure supplier documents confirm to the Technical Requirements of Purchase Order, and all equipment tie-ins & interfaces are compatible for integration with plant facilities.
Review test procedures and attend shop performance tests of equipment & packages at supplier works. Review shop test reports and advise acceptance or recommendations on test reports.
Provide technical support to construction sites and commissioning team, during site (yard) fabrication & installation, commissioning, and startups of equipment & packages, as required.
Assist Discipline Lead Engineer of the project in progress reporting and misc. project activities.
Perform departmental duties as and when directed by Direct Supervisor.
