Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with ADNOC's requirements and industry best practices.
Lead and manage HSE activities on-site to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections, and proactively identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Develop and oversee the execution of emergency response plans and crisis management procedures.
Provide technical support and HSE guidance to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor and report HSE performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular audits, ensuring that corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC safety standards and all applicable local regulations.
Conduct HSE training sessions for employees and contractors, fostering a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
Actively participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventive actions to avoid future occurrences.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, documentation, and records in accordance with company procedures and ADNOC requirements.
Collaborate with various departments to improve overall safety processes and reduce workplace hazards.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience
in HSE roles within
ADNOC
or similar oil and gas projects.
Deep knowledge of
HSE management systems
(ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.) and related standards.
Strong understanding of ADNOC's
HSE protocols, regulations, and safety practices
.
Proven experience in managing HSE on large-scale projects, including risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.
Experience with
HSE software
and systems (e.g., HSE databases, reporting tools).
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bachelor's degree
in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
