Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Home Automation Technician
to lead and manage automation installations across our high-end projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills. You will oversee a team of technicians, coordinate with project managers and designers, and ensure the highest standards of workmanship and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of automation technicians on site.
Install, configure, and commission home and building automation systems (KNX, Lutron, Crestron, etc.).
Oversee integration with BMS and GMRS systems.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain accurate documentation and as-built records.
Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards on all installations.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in home or building automation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
Proven experience with one or more of the following systems:
KNX, Lutron, Crestron, BMS, GMRS
.
Solid understanding of networking, low-voltage systems, and AV integration.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and system schematics.
UAE or GCC experience preferred.
Valid UAE driving license.
