Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
(mandatory)Minimum 20 years
of total experience, withat least 7-8 years in Qatar
on highway/road projectsValid MMUP/UPDA Certification
(mandatory)Chartered Engineer (CEng)
or recognizedProfessional Engineering Certification
(mandatory) Strong command of design software tools such as Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MX Road, AutoCAD, etc. Deep knowledge of highway geometric design, pavement design, and traffic engineering principles Proven experience managing large design teams and working in coordination with government agencies like AshghalKey Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of highway design across multiple large-scale infrastructure projects. Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of design drawings, technical reports, and specifications. Ensure all designs comply with local standards, including Ashghal. Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams and guide the highway design process from concept to detailed design and construction support. Act as a technical liaison between the design team, project managers, and client representatives. Manage project timelines, budgets, quality control, and risk mitigation strategies. Supervise and mentor senior engineers and design staff. Represent the company in meetings with clients, government authorities, and stakeholders. Support tendering processes and evaluate design submissions from third parties when required.
