To offer clients keratin treatments, hair straightening, creative hair ups, hair extensions and any other service related to hairdressing. To provide and maintain the highest standard of services, recommendations for client homecare, daily operational procedures and overall excellent client care, resulting in repeat client visits and increased sales in the salon. ACCOUNTABILITIES To be a team player to ensure the highest possible standards of service delivery. Be welcoming, friendly, professional and tactful in all communications with clients. Be discreet, do not talk about yourself neither draw too much attention to your own life situation. Use the \xe2\x80\x9cIt\xe2\x80\x99s not about you, it\xe2\x80\x99s all about them\xe2\x80\x9d philosophy. No native language to be spoken with your colleagues in case the client doesn\xe2\x80\x99t speak that particular language. Perform full consultation with the clients to understand their needs. Complete consultation sheet for any new client. Use the Waiver in case clients insist you to perform a service you recommend her not to have. Responsible for serving clients in an appropriate and professional manner, understanding the clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and making sure of client satisfaction. Discuss the client\xe2\x80\x99s required next visit and inform reception about the same. Ensure that product usage is kept to manufactures specification and not used in excess. Educating the client and recommending products to help the client maintain her hairstyle. Attending all required technical training sessions, hairdressing seminars and keeping up to date with new products, techniques and trends and reviewing trade publications. Selling appropriate hair products. Keeping track of clients\xe2\x80\x99 visits and services offered to them and keep track of specific colourused. Assist in purchase orders. Confident with all aspects of hairdressing. Ensure that personal grooming and appearance standards are maintained at all times. Be on time for shifts and prompt with each appointment. Perform services within the appropriate time allocated for the service. Be flexible with schedules in an attempt to support the needs of the salon. Actively promote the products, services, promotions and/or discounts available in meeting maximum sales goals. Maintain an active profile on social media to increase visibility of salon, increase awareness of your talent, stay abreast of latest trends and increase following. Social media status should say that you are employed at The Wave Lounge. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as per the salon\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures. Perform prep work and properly clean and restock work area as required. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or clients in the salon that require attention. Handle clients\xe2\x80\x99 questions and concerns professionally and courteously and answer all queries by clients ensuring complete client satisfaction. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. Maintain confidentiality and the highest degree of professional ethics at all times. Ensure you read the Operations Manual, have a thorough understanding of and adhere to salon rules and regulations. Perform any other related duties as determined necessary by management. Diploma in Level 3 Hairdressing is a plus. Thorough knowledge of current trends, hair styles and hair care products. Available to work on various schedules including weekends and holidays.
