As a Hair Stylist at our salon, you will be responsible for providing professional hair care services to our clients. You will utilize your creativity and technical skills to enhance their natural beauty and achieve their desired look. This role requires a strong understanding of various hair types and styles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Consultation and Client Management:

- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.

- Provide expert advice on suitable hairstyles, cuts, colors, and treatments based on individual client preferences and hair type.

- Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the service.

2. Hair Services:

- Perform a variety of hair care services including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments.

- Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques to offer innovative services to clients.

- Use professional products and tools effectively to achieve desired results while maintaining hair health.

3. Technical Expertise:

- Demonstrate proficiency in hair cutting techniques (e.g., precision cuts, layering, texturizing).

- Apply hair coloring techniques such as foiling, balayage, and ombre with precision and attention to detail.

- Perform hair treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and chemical processes as needed.

4. Sanitation and Safety:

- Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.

- Adhere to salon safety and sanitation protocols to ensure the health and safety of clients and staff.

5. Customer Service:

- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.

- Address client concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.

- Promote salon products and services and educate clients on hair care routines and products.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.

- Proficiency in a wide range of hair styling techniques and services.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques.

- Certification from a recognized cosmetology school is preferred.
