Key Responsibilities

• Update, maintain, and enhance geospatial databases to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with project requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver spatial data, analysis, and insights that support informed decision-making
• Create, review, and maintain digital GIS maps for varied project needs
• Prepare system and database reports, checklists, and documentation with appropriate oversight
• Develop custom GIS applications and tools to address spatial challenges
• Assist with installation, configuration, and management of enterprise GIS portals and server environments
• Implement spatial database designs and data models for efficient querying and analysis
• Define data types, relationships, constraints, and indexes to optimize performance
• Perform advanced editing, digitizing, and geoprocessing to convert data and analyze geospatial information
• Support GIS implementation and management plans at program and project levels
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members
• Respond to client queries and support internal coordination across departments
• Contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery and perform additional duties as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum seven years of relevant professional experience
• Strong understanding of GIS fundamentals with CAD and BIM awareness
• Proven experience in spatial database design, data models, and geoprocessing workflows
• Experience supporting GIS implementation across large-scale programs

Skills Set

• Proficiency with GIS software, databases, workflows, troubleshooting, and system capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in geospatial contexts
• Knowledge of QA and QC practices, data management standards, and geoprocessing techniques
• Experience with web services, mobile GIS applications, and FME-based data transformation
• Ability to automate tasks and perform complex analyses using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Demonstrated cartographic design skills and production of scaled maps
• Strong communication skills to explain technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders
