Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist to join our team! In this role you will get to design ground engineering solutions for a wide variety of infrastructure and development projects across Dubai, the rest of the UAE and the wider Gulf region.

What You\'ll Be Doing:

Design of ground engineering solutions for projects including: bridges, tunnels (bored and cut & cover), shafts, embankments, cuts (including rock cuts) and ground improvement/stabilization.

Plan and design foundation solutions for structures and facilities including bridges, roads, railroads, airports, pipelines, power plants.

Scope, specify and oversee ground investigation works and interpret the results.

Identify, develop, analysis and deliver geotechnical / ground engineering solutions, in accordance with relevant standards, codes of practice and regulations.

Preparation of Reports, Calculations, Drawings and Specifications associated with those engineering solutions.

Working with a large team of civil and structural engineers.

Participating in technical discussions with Clients and Authorities to obtain their approvals / permits where required.

What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering (or related field) and typically 8+ years of related work experience.

Minimum 2+ years relevant design experience in the UAE.

Strong technical knowledge of current technologies and good engineering practices.

Management and self-motivation to deliver multiple tasks and projects.

Teamworking skills to work with Engineers and Technicians at all levels of experience.

Good working knowledge of relevant computer software for analyzing ground engineering solutions.

Fluent English (both spoken and written) is essential.

What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:

Professional / Chartered Engineer registration (or equivalent) is an advantage.

Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
