Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is essential. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable.

Experience

8 to 15 years of relevant experience in profitability and performance management, with a focus on financial analysis and decision-making support. Prior experience in the utilities, power, or energy sectors is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise

Advanced expertise in profitability analysis, corporate financial modeling, and segment analysis. Strong command of decision support tools for performance benchmarking, analysis, and scenario planning. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP). Demonstrated ability to perform sensitivity analysis and assess financial impacts of strategic options. Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Hands-on experience with advanced analytics techniques, including big data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and corporate performance management platforms. Knowledge of global financial management trends and industry best practices. Capacity to assess opportunities and challenges through business case development Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization. Capacity to generate actionable insights to influence high-level decision-making.
