The Senior Financial Analyst will have responsibility for performing critical analytical functions in support of the business. Initially, this position will be joining at a very exciting time for Marmon Foodservice Technologies (MFT) Americas, with ability to learn the business and play a critical role with heavy participation in the implementation of a new ERP system. However, the Senior Financial Analyst will ultimately become an important source of information and insight to the business, using finance and accounting acumen, data analytics capabilities, and knowledge of manufacturing to support strategy, planning, performance and decision-making. An effective Senior Financial Analyst is organized, proactive, a strong communicator, able to work cross-functionally, and has a great eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, FP&A or Financial Analysis within manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry. Critical duties for this role will initially be focused on data, design validation, and reporting capabilities for a new ERP system. After go-live, critical duties for this role will include, but will not be limited to, reporting and analysis for monthly, quarterly, long-range and ad-hoc needs of the MFT Americas business group. This includes a heavily supportive role in forecasting, budgeting, analyzing critical metrics, building dashboards, and providing analytical insight through data and variance analysis.. Initially, participate as a focused team member in data, design validation, and reporting capabilities for a new ERP system.. Experience with Infor LN ERP would be a plus, but not required. Analyze data to provide insight to drive efficiency and improvement, including variance analysis, metrics and reports/commentary of data and dashboards to support management in making decisions. Support timely preparation of standard monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting and analysis requirements.. Support the management team in gathering and organizing data for analytics.. Working with Business Controllers to develop reporting dashboards for key operational metrics applied consistently across the North American Manufacturing plants. Required: o Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Coursework in Data Analytics a pluso 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting, Financial Analysis or Financial Reporting role, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced proficiency in Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional management teams. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, accurate and timely. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills required.
