Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: To implement TAQA\xe2\x80\x99s capital structure and funding strategy and plans, whilst maintaining effective communication with banks, rating agencies and debt investors to ensure effective and cost-efficient funding and financial services are available for TAQA. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Budgeting and Financial Performance -
  • Monitor the financial performance of a given area of activity versus budgets and ensure all activities are carried out in line with the approved guidelines while promptly reporting on any variances to management.
Collaboration and Delivery with Strategic Business Partners -
  • Conduct the routine collaboration with all business partners (Human Capital, Supply Chain, IT and Legal) to codeliver defined key performance indicators (KPIs) in line with the overall business plan.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures -
  • Provide inputs and implement policies, systems, and procedure for the assigned team so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Continuous Improvement -
  • Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Reporting -
  • Prepare sectional statements and reports timely and accurately to meet NewCo and department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Long-term funding -
  • Primary evaluation and analysis of funding opportunities and options, which meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s funding strategy and needs.
  • Analysis of funding options for new projects and working with the Business Development team to ensure appropriate and cost-effective financing is in place. Project management of financing efforts.
  • Negotiation of any new financing agreements, ensuring commercial terms are in accordance with precedent.
Debt management -
  • Monitor and report the performance of TAQA debt providing pricing updates and analysis of their performance compared to peers and economic outlook.
  • Monitor and report debt covenants and other gearing ratios for reporting to banks and other credit providers.
  • Provision of periodic reports on financing summary, debt maturity analysis, liquidity and investment reporting, counterparty exposures, interest expense, interest forecast, and intercompany positions.
  • Long-term intercompany funding and reporting thereof.
Rating Agency Relationships -
  • Analysis of Rating Agency rating methodology, assumptions, adjustments to financial statements and understanding the rationale.
  • Reporting of liquidity positions and other reports to rating agencies. Reporting on TAQA metrics and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Analysis of impact of growth plans, refinancing and other activities on rating agency metrics.
Guarantee Management -
  • Management of the company\xe2\x80\x99s documentary credit portfolio of circa. $450 million, including the evaluation of banks\xe2\x80\x99 offerings, negotiation of facilities and pricing, ensuring issuance and cancellations are in line with company\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and underlying facility agreements.
  • The first point of contact for all documentary credit matters, liaising with number of local and international banks, ensuring that bank relationships are effectively managed to obtain optimal pricing.
  • Reporting of documentary credit exposures across the group in a timely manner.
Banking Relations -
  • Assist in the bank relationship management of the company, ensuring the company wallet is appropriately shared among relationship banks.
  • Primary point of contact for all regulatory documentation required by the banks such as KYC.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure that the financial costs are minimised and TAQA\xe2\x80\x99s credibility is leveraged for maximum benefit.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance with a particular emphasis on treasury & corporate funding.
