BitOasis operates under the supervision of the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) and is in the process of acquiring virtual assets licenses and approvals across the region.



This role is responsible for leading the client payment channels (on-ramps and off-ramps solutions) and treasury function across MENATP region. The candidate will design effective solutions with cross-functional teams including internal tech platform, Compliance, Operations and Public Policy teams and external parties like Payment Institutions (PIs), to provide customers ease on deposits and withdrawals. The role will also lead the projects to improve cash flows, building banking channels (local, on-shore, off-shore) and working capital for the organization by managing key partnerships with payment intermediaries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide direction to the Client Money Team and Treasury function on managing the complex process of deposits, withdrawals from the crypto customers as well as build effective cash flow management, treasury solutions.
• Manage the existing and build new relationships with Payment Institutions and channels (banks, PSPs, money exchanges).
• Provide strategic direction on payments, partnership roadmap in MENATP expansion including peer-to-peer programs.
• Build risk management solutions with compliance team on fraudulent transaction attempts, price exposure on payment methods and minimizing their impact on financials.
• Drive automation of the manual processes, reconciliations by drafting processes, developing new dashboards and launching new tools, and drive rigor around financial reporting as per regulatory requirements.
• Improve Working Capital and drive projects internally to support it.
• Own the launch of Crypto-card program in the region.
• Be a strategic partner to product and technology teams by providing financially prudent solutions, analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) and 10+ years relevant experience in Finance, Treasury, Accounting discipline with analytical bias.
• Relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting of financial results
• Experience of managing regulatory changes on financials, building internal controls, risk management.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital.
• Demonstrated effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and mid-senior levels of management.
