The Senior Field Clinical Specialist

role will be based in

Romania

and will be responsible for providing in-field clinical support across Central Eastern European countries. This role includes supporting TEER (Transcatheter Edge to Edge Repair) procedures, delivering product training to healthcare professionals, and collaborating with local distributors to drive clinical excellence and procedural adoption. The position requires regular travel across the region and close coordination with sales teams.

Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary and Bulgaria

You will make an impact:

Deliver clinical support during TEER (Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair) procedures to ensure optimal technique and patient outcomes. Provide comprehensive education on procedural flow, device preparation, implantation techniques, and troubleshooting, ensuring clinical teams are confident and well-informed. Conduct and coordinate physician and hospital staff training sessions covering products training and procedure-specific best practices. Offer post-procedure follow-up support to reinforce training, address technical queries, and contribute to improved patient outcomes. Support local distributors through ongoing training and clinical guidance to strengthen partner capabilities across the region. Collaborate with Sales Management to develop and execute strategic growth plans within assigned territory. Monitor competitor activity across the region and work proactively with distributors to identify opportunities, close gaps, and strengthen market positioning.

What you'll need (Required):

Min. 5 years of work experience in the industry - medical device (fields: TAVI, CRM, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, AAA, cardiac surgery, echocardiography, vascular or similar) and/or clinical experience (from hospital environment - nurses, perfusionist) required Training experience in clinical / technical environment preferred Cath lab / OR / hybrid OR experience

Fluent English required,

Experience managing a team highly preferred Ability and availability to travel extensively (approx. 760%), active car driver

Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills Moderate knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science Moderate understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology including the applications and "language" of the market and Edwards Lifesciences Moderate understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting Moderate imaging analysis software skills (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.) Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and strict attention to detail * Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
