The Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician role at Atlantis The Royal Dubai is a critical technical position responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and operational excellence of one of the world's most ultra-luxury resorts. Role Summary
The Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all aspects of resort facilities, structures, and equipment at Atlantis The Royal Dubai. The role includes preventive and conditional-based maintenance, emergency response, technical supervision when required, and training junior team members while ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.
What You'll Do

• Perform inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance across resort facilities and equipment
• Carry out conditional based maintenance and preventive maintenance as per manufacturer and property guidelines
• Maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, kitchen, carpentry, painting, audio-visual, and fire life safety systems
• Support maintenance of hotel rooms, public areas, exterior resort features, and recreational water systems
• Work independently with minimal supervision and act as supervisor when required
• Respond to emergencies and perform technical duties during all shift operations
• Escalate technical issues and safety risks to supervisors and management
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas before, during, and after maintenance activities
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained, calibrated, and used safely
• Train and mentor other maintenance staff as required

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a facilities maintenance trade with formal technical or trade school education
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems including single and three phase power, motors, starters, and controls
• Experience with lighting systems, transformers, generators, building energy management systems, and guestroom management systems
• Practical knowledge of plumbing systems including PPR and PVC pipelines, pumps, valves, and sanitary installations
• Experience maintaining HVAC systems including AHU, FAHU, FCU, and ventilation fans
• Ability to operate electrical and HVAC diagnostic tools and meters
• Knowledge of fire alarm and life safety systems with emergency handling capability
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and ability to train other staff
