About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Auditor to join our Abu Dhabi team on an urgent basis. This is a senior leadership position suited for a technically strong audit professional who is confident in leading and finalizing statutory audits and operating within an ADGM-regulated environment.

You will play a key role in overseeing audit engagements, guiding audit teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Please note: This role is strictly for candidates who meet the ADGM Audit Principal eligibility criteria. Applications will be reviewed only if all mandatory requirements are met.

What You Will Be Doing

Lead and finalize external audits in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) Prepare, review, and approve IFRS-compliant financial statements Plan audits, assess risks, determine materiality, and design audit strategies Review audit working papers and ensure compliance with ISQM 1 quality standards Supervise, mentor, and support audit teams throughout the engagement lifecycle Clearly communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and management Uphold the highest standards of ethics, independence, and professional judgment Serve as a senior technical resource for complex audit and accounting matters

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications (Mandatory)

ACCA, CA or CPA - Fully qualified Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong technical expertise in ISA, IFRS, and audit methodologies Working knowledge of the UAE regulatory environment
(VAT and Corporate Tax exposure is an advantage)

Experience (Mandatory)

Minimum 7 years of post-qualification external audit experience Proven track record in leading and finalizing statutory audits within a recognized audit firm Hands-on experience supervising audit teams and closing engagements Exposure to reviewing and/or signing audit reports Practical experience working within an ISQC / ISQM-based quality framework

ADGM Audit Principal Eligibility (Essential)

To be considered, candidates must meet ADGM Registration Authority requirements, including:

At least 5 years of relevant post-qualification audit experience in the past 7 years Demonstrated experience in supervising and finalizing external audits Eligibility to be registered (or already registered) as an ADGM Audit Principal Ability to meet ADGM's fit and proper, competency, and professional standards

Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
