Job Description
We are Hiring a Principal Auditor for our Abu Dhabi Office.
Responsibilities
Lead and execute external audits in line with
International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
Prepare, review, and finalizeIFRS-compliant
financial statements Conduct audit planning, risk assessments, and sampling strategies Review audit files and ensure compliance withISQM 1
quality management standards Supervise, train, and guide audit staff during fieldwork Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and risks to clients Maintain the highest levels of ethics, independence, and professional skepticismQualifications
ACCA / CPA
- fully qualified (mandatory) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong technical expertise in ISA, IFRS, and audit methodology Knowledge of UAE regulatory framework, VAT, and corporate tax (preferred)Experience(Must have)
Minimum 7 years of post-qualification external audit experience
Experience leading statutory audits in an established audit practice Prior exposure to reviewing or signing audit reports Experience working within an ISQC/ISQM-based audit quality frameworkSkills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication High attention to detail and professional skepticism Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines Leadership and mentoring capability
