Monitors, reports and takes corrective actions to coordinate the timely delivery of all purchased equipment and materials in accordance with the established project schedule. This is done in support of requirements under the supervision of the Project Expediting and Inspection Coordinator.
Essential Job Functions:
Upon placement of a purchase order, contacts supplier and establishes point(s) of contact.
Confirms receipt of formal purchase order and obtains acknowledgement copy of purchase order.
Contacts suppliers by telephone, e-mail, to monitor progress of engineering, materials, fabrication, inspection and testing.
Obtains job status reports and production schedules.
Assures that all required supplier documentation (i.e. drawings, weld procedures, inspection and testing procedures, mill test reports, manufacturer data book, etc.) is submitted, as required.
Accumulates and analyzes all data that may adversely affect scheduled deliveries.
Anticipates delays and bottlenecks, and resolves problems with suppliers or internally if required.
Prepares, maintains, and issues Material Progress Reports on a regular basis, which reflect the progress of all purchased equipment & materials.
Maintains good working relationships with suppliers to ensure optimum use of their resources toward meeting our goals.
Develops and maintains all necessary supplier correspondence.
Coordinates, as necessary, with the traffic department to ensure expeditious movement of equipment & materials.

Education and Experience Requirements
5-7 years progressively responsible experience in expediting activities in a technical and engineered equipment environment.
Preferably a Bachelor's degree involving Business Administration or related field, or equivalent job experience.
Experience in ADNOC projects is a must
