:
The Senior Executive - Visual Merchandising plays a key role in creating a compelling and immersive in-store experience that drives customer engagement and supports commercial objectives. This role is responsible for conceptualising, organising, and executing visually impactful displays that guide customers throughout the store, enhance brand storytelling, and convert footfall into sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement innovative and visually engaging in-store displays that align with brand identity, seasonal themes, and promotional calendars.
  • Collaborate with marketing, buying, regional VMs and retail teams to translate commercial priorities into effective visual merchandising strategies.
  • Analyse store layouts, product placement, and customer flow to optimise space utilisation and maximise product visibility.
  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives through store performance data and shopper behaviour insights, continuously optimising VM strategies for better commercial impact.
  • Conduct regular store visits and provide detailed feedback, action plans, and visual updates to ensure VM standards are maintained and continuously improved.
  • Lead the set-up and execution of new store openings and key launches, coordinating timelines and deliverables across project and operations teams to ensure on-time, brand-aligned rollouts.
  • Maintain consistency in execution across all stores through VM guidelines, manuals, and regular audits; ensure alignment between store teams and the head office.
  • Monitor competitor activity, global VM trends, and customer behaviour to propose fresh ideas and improvements.
  • Support budget planning and track VM spend to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in training and guiding store teams to uphold VM guidelines and brand presentation.
Qualifications:
  • Fluent in English / Arabic is an advantage
  • A degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in visual merchandising, preferably within fashion, beauty, home or lifestyle retail.
  • UAE / GCC experience
  • Strong creative flair with a commercial mindset and excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in visual planning tools and basic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar) would be an advantage.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Confident communicator and team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across the GCC for store visits and openings.
