We are looking for a detail-driven

Estimator

with hands-on knowledge in

3D printing, fiberglass, and custom builds

to join our growing team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

Tender & Scope Review

- Study drawings, 3D models, and design briefs to prepare accurate cost estimates for 3D printing, fiberglass, wood, acrylic, and mixed-material projects.

Material & Process Take-offs

- Conduct detailed take-offs for raw materials, printing resins, fiberglass layups, coatings, finishes, and structural supports.

Cost Planning & BOQs

- Prepare cost plans,

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

, and detailed breakdowns for tenders, client proposals, and variations.

Design Tool Integration

- Use

AutoCAD, SketchUp, and similar tools

to interpret designs and support accurate scoping of fabrication requirements.

Vendor & Supply Coordination

- Source quotations from suppliers and normalize bids for fair comparisons.

Value Engineering

- Identify alternative materials, methods, or finishing techniques to optimize costs without compromising quality.

Project Support

- Work closely with design, fabrication, and installation teams to align estimates with real-world execution.

Continuous Improvement

- Maintain cost libraries, benchmark data, and integrate lessons learned to improve estimating accuracy over time.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, or related field

(or equivalent hands-on experience).

5+ years of experience

as an Estimator in

3D printing, fiberglass, custom manufacturing, or related industries

. Strong technical knowledge of

3D printing technologies, fiberglass layups, coatings, and mixed-material fabrication

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets

. Ability to interpret

2D drawings, 3D models, and design renders

into practical cost breakdowns. Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
