Position Overview
Senior Engineer Wet Utilities Design role in Dubai supporting Parsons Corporation on complex water, wastewater, and wet utilities design projects. The role focuses on advanced engineering analysis, hydraulic modeling, authority coordination, and delivery of compliant, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering units or project components involving large-scale manpower and budgets
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and design staff, supporting quality improvement initiatives
• Deliver technical consultations for interdisciplinary studies and analyses
• Coordinate with CAD designers and perform CAD-related tasks using advanced 3D modeling tools
• Ensure design compliance with applicable codes and regulations and provide professional sign-off when required
• Prepare material and equipment specifications, purchase requisitions, and review supplier data
• Support shop tests, assess supplier capabilities, and contribute to procurement decisions
• Develop operation and maintenance plans, standard operating procedures, and O and M manuals
• Conduct surveys, studies, site investigations, and RAM and safety analyses
• Independently design pressure networks for collection, conveyance, and disposal systems
• Prepare hydraulic models and design reports using Bentley WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, Hammer, and WANDA
• Perform load demand calculations for large private and government developments
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations including DEWA, DM, DCD, ADDC, ADWEA, ADM, and other GCC authorities
• Prepare utility cross sections in line with RTA, DMT, MOMRA, and similar authority requirements
• Prepare technical specifications and design reports in accordance with British, American, and local standards
• Liaise with service providers and authorities to obtain NOCs and design approvals
• Support budget estimates, staffing plans, and technical papers as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water, Wastewater, or Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Minimum eight years of design experience in water, wastewater, or wet utilities projects
• Proven capability to perform in a lead engineering capacity
• Strong knowledge of current engineering technologies and design software
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and regional infrastructure requirements

Skills Set

• Advanced wet utilities and pressure network design expertise
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling and engineering software
• Strong technical reporting and specification writing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
