Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer specializing in Bridges and Underpasses to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our Supervision team you will play a crucial role in the construction supervision of major roadway projects, including new highways, interchanges, and the upgrading/rehabilitation of existing roads.

Familiar with the Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/ Dubai Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications Supervise and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment Follow up set inspection for installations and review inspector's performance on a regular basis. Coordinate with the project managers to resolve technical issues and optimize solutions Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and address any structural concerns Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of structural elements with other project components Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in bridge and underpass engineering Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within budget and schedule constraints

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferred Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on bridges and underpasses (Cut & Cover) Comprehensive knowledge of RTA specifications and familiarity with Construction of Box Girder Bridges in UAE/Dubai Strong understanding of international bridge design codes and standards Demonstrated experience in developing QA/QC procedures for inspections and test plans Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead a small team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in the UAE RTA Pre-Approval is highly desirable Middle East or UAE/Dubai experience preferred Professional engineering license or equivalent certification is a plus
