Provide a Mechanical Design capability in Halcon Systems. Key Accountabilities

Provide an in-house mechanical design capability to support the various development programmes of Halcon; Undertake mechanical design and support work throughout the life-cycle of the system under development, for all phases of conceptual design, preliminary design, detail design and development, manufacture, production, end-use support and phase-out/disposal; Perform precise engineering calculations using theoretical methods as well as computational simulations; Devise, organize and ensure engineering arrangements and revisions; Establish test specifications and procedures to ensure that all design requirements are met; Evaluate the performance of mechanical equipment against set performance requirements; Mentor and monitor mechanical engineers; Steer and support technical personnel reporting to your function to deliver on their responsibilities as designated by the Lead Engineer. BacheloraEUR(TM)s or MasteraEUR(TM)s degree and/or equivalent technical qualification in mechanical or aerospace engineering Working knowledge in the broad spectrum of mechanical engineering as related to fine mechanical system development and manufacturing Experience

At least 8 yr (BacheloraEUR(TM)s), 7 yr (MasteraEUR(TM)s) or 6 yr (PhD) of related experience, preferably, in the aerospace industry Additional Details
