Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Planning to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will lead the planning and design of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring sustainable and efficient development in one of the world's most dynamic urban environments.

Develop comprehensive infrastructure plans for major urban development projects Conduct detailed site analyses and feasibility studies for proposed infrastructure initiatives Create and review technical drawings and specifications using advanced CAD software Utilize GIS technology to analyze spatial data and inform planning decisions Perform complex data analysis and modeling to optimize infrastructure designs Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with infrastructure projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, environmental specialists, and government officials Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Manage and mentor junior engineers in the planning and design process Present infrastructure plans and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent professional certification Minimum of 12 years of experience in infrastructure planning or a related field Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects Expert proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software Strong skills in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and data analysis In-depth knowledge of sustainable infrastructure design principles Familiarity with urban development trends and best practices Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong project management abilities, including budgeting and resource allocation Effective communication and presentation skills in English Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
