A well established building contracting company based in Dubai is looking for a Planning Engineer Civil.

The candidate must have 8 to 10 years of UAE experience in building contracting.

Job description :

Develop a detailed and comprehensive Master Project Baseline Program on primavera software-P6 covering entire scope of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and handing over based on contract, BOQ and drawings.

Perform Resource loading of the schedule with cost and manpower to generate Progress S-curves for Cash flow and progress planned percentages.

Update and evaluate the baseline program on regular basis to make comparison between planned and actual progress, analyze and notify the project management team of any delays and its impact on project completion date to minimize the risk.

Fully aware of the sequences of activities and construction procedures and authorities' requirements.

Coordinate with site management team, procurement, design and commercial team as required to overcome issues related to Engineering, procurement and construction to ensure timely completion of the project.

Prepare detailed claim for Extension of Time and prolongation cost using EOT methods such as Time Impact Analysis, As built vs As Planned etc. as per contract in case of any delay events beyond the control.

Prepare and assist in submissions of Delay Notices/Letters.

Assist in preparing and reviewing Monthly Reports, dashboards and look ahead schedules.

Assist Commercial and Procurement team in preparation of Tender schedules and Subcontractors schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Equivalence Certificate & SOE are required

Experience:

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in building contracting or high-end construction projects.

Proficiency in FIDIC & Primavera software is mandatory.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory.

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and delay analysis methodologies.

Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes.

Effective communication and coordination abilities to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.

Proficiency in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proactive and solutions-driven mindset.

Strong work ethic and commitment to achieving project goals.
