About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Engineer - HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machinery) Maintenance to join our limestone aggregate production team. This role is vital to ensuring the uptime, reliability, and optimal performance of a large fleet of HEMM, including dumpers, excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, and other mining support equipment.

The Senior Engineer will report directly to the Site Operations Manager and play a key role in planning and executing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

? Lead the maintenance planning and execution for a fleet of HEMM from brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Zoomlion, Sachman, etc.

? Implement and oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules to reduce downtime

? Ensure daily inspection and logging of equipment health, maintenance tasks, and performance data

? Maintain spare parts inventory, coordinate with suppliers/vendors for critical components and ensure timely procurement

? Analyze equipment breakdown trends, diesel efficiency, and component failure rates to propose improvement plans

? Supervise a team of technicians, mechanics, electricians, and coordinate with site engineers for real-time issue resolution

? Ensure compliance with safety standards, equipment manuals, and UAE mining regulatory norms

? Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for machine handling, repair, and servicing

? Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on maintenance KPIs, cost, machine availability, and job cards

? Liaise closely with the Site Operations Manager to align maintenance priorities with production schedules

? Drive cost control in maintenance, reduce breakdown frequency, and optimize use of manpower and parts

Required Skills & Qualifications

? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

? Minimum 6+ years of experience in HEMM maintenance, preferably in mining or aggregate operations

? Deep understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in HEMM

? Hands-on experience in managing Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, or equivalent fleets

? Strong skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, service scheduling, and vendor coordination

? Familiar with maintenance management software and reporting tools (Excel mandatory)

? Strong leadership, discipline, and team supervision capabilities

? Fluency in English and Hindi (Arabic is a plus)
