Objectives of the role

• Provide technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware and software.
• Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.
• Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
• Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot issues related to cloud based VDI, mailboxes and application access.
• Provide onsite support to various technical activities on IT infra.
• Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
• Record technical issues and solutions in logs.
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
• Identify issues, propose solutions and test new technologies or process changes.

Skills & Accountabilities:

• Create functional software and disk images.
• Knowledge of network troubleshooting, ethernet and IP configuration.
• Knowledge of software distribution and patch management.
• Develop software upgrade schedule
• Install new hardware throughout the organization
• Resolve system security issues (Forscout and Cisco)
• SCCM client configuration.
• OS update and vulnerability assessment.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues
• Use ticketing systems to track and solve user issues
• Write procedural documents
• Setting up various UAT testing environment as per vendor requirements.
• Installing golden image to the systems and encrypting with bitlocker.
• Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, IP phones and network, Printer / Scanner.
• Knowledge of single sign on system based on Vasco and RSA token
• Knowledge of Azure and Citrix VDI
• Configuration of secured VPN configuration with certificates.
• Incident management and proper escalation.
• Knowledge of Change management system

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
