OB PURPOSE:

Participate in engineering and execution strategies finalization related to new projects / major modifications at Zirku Site in coordination with Projects and Operation Teams. Lead, manage and coordinate the field execution of all major Electrical works at Zirku Island with adequate site support and collaboration with management. Ensure optimized review and analysis of site resources and downtime for all Electrical and Power system related major activities to minimize variations or impact on business continuity. Lead site turnaround and shutdown coordination. Develop and implement systems and procedures for Electrical and Power system maintenance and ensure the activities are executed in a safe manner as per the Scope of Works.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Specific Accountabilities

Review and comment on Statement of Requirement (S.O.R) for new project initiation.

Provide effective interfacing between Projects and Operation Teams for continuous site support during entire project life cycle to assist timely execution of assigned Projects.

Coordinate with Projects Team for daily and weekly progress reports and prepare presentations for Site Management with actual progress, major variances, concerns, look ahead and recovery plan.

Contribute in Engineering design reviews including, Layouts, Specifications, Operability and studies of new projects. Participate to finalize Single Line Diagrams, Load Lists and Protection schemes and Schematics for the Power System during FEED & EPC stages of the project..

Review and discuss requirements based on site feedback and participate in Design, Technical Review Meetings, Site Surveys and supervise contractor\'s activities.

Participate in safety reviews such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, SILs, FATs, SATs, PSSR. Also, Operational review to ensure that plant and facilities are properly designed and fit for purpose with respect to Operability and Maintainability requirements.

Lead Electrical Major works at site from start to finish by actively involving in all stages of Project for safe execution and smooth integration with the existing system.

Track and identify Project dependencies and critical path for compliance to individual milestones and deliverables. Coordinate to resolve conflicts within the project execution plans, schedules and implementation in coordination with ZR Site operations.

Participate in Mechanical Completion walk through and contribute in raising punch points in line with Scope of Work.

Follow-up of punch list items until completion with engineering and execution teams with proper prioritization and definite period for actions. Ensure punch list closures prior to RFSU as per Company procedure.

Review major works related Equipment Operating Manuals and coordinate with Projects Team to ensure availability of technical documentation as per EPC scope of work prior to handover to Operations Team.

Follow up for SPIRs reviews, spares identification, procurement and mobilization to Site.

Oversee commissioning and hand-over of new facility. Highlight and address operations and design related issues and warranty/guaranty claims with stakeholders.

Assist in troubleshooting and Liaise with vendor/support post major works for support to minimize equipment downtime as part of Warrantee Claims related failures and breakdown.

Lead, Coordinate, follow up and prepare in-house activities, major projects and shutdown campaigns requirements with support units and contractor for minimum operational interventions and shutdowns within site resource limitations, inline to company objectives.

Provide technical support to shutdown planning, engineering and maintenance activities and supervise project related shutdown activities to ensure safe execution in compliance with the scope of work.

Responsible for handing over areas by clearing all materials, equipment, scaffolding etc. upon completion of shutdowns back to Operation for safe plant Operation.

Participate in the HSE audits when in-group and lead HSE audits independently to ensure Compliance to the HSE Management of Contractors.

Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.

Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control

Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Section\'s / Department work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Performance Management

Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Section / Department in line with the Company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.

Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Reports

Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills

8 - 9 years of experience, including at least experience electrical discipline experience in Oil industry operations covering Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Facility Integrity etc. preferably in offshore installations and Major works

Proficient in English.
