Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Construction Engineer - Piping
to oversee and manage piping construction activities for major oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of industry experience, with strong technical knowledge in piping systems, construction execution, and quality/safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all piping construction activities at site. Review and interpret piping isometrics, P&IDs, and construction drawings. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project alignment. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Monitor construction progress and provide technical guidance to contractors and field teams. Identify and resolve construction-related issues in a timely manner. Participate in constructability reviews and support commissioning activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in piping construction within the oil & gas sector. Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and international piping codes and standards. Proven experience in large-scale onshore/offshore projects. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in remote or site-based environments.
