JOB TITLE: Construction Offshore Senior Engineer HUC

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate is able to identify hookup scope for offshore construction of platforms, and able to plan them according to required milestones of the project. Also, will be responsible for planning the campaigns, preparing required material and tools, and generating job cards. Supervision of all construction activities during execution.

Candidate is responsible for the management of all marine subcontractors during engineering and preparations until execution of the project and closing out.

Ensure that the Project HSSE Plan adequately covers HUC and commissioning activities and are compliant.

Enforce effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned sectional activity so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.S
  • Develop scope of work for all construction subcontractors for the execution of the project, which would include all trades, such as welder, painters, rope access, etc.
  • Develop the hook-up construction and resource plan.
  • Prepare job cards for all offshore activities.
  • Convey scope to offshore construction subcontractors.
  • Identify required material and tools for procurement, during preparation for the campaign, and during offshore campaigns, if required.
  • Support commissioning team.
  • Supervise offshore construction site works and coordinate with all parties involved.
  • Establish and maintain good relations and communication with Client, Sub Contractors, Sub Sea cable contractors and or any other facilities delivery teams and operations in support of the efficient progression of HUC activities defined in the integrated project plan.
  • Ensure that the HUP facilities are hooked up and provide support to Comm team for commissioning safely and in compliance with relevant company standards and procedures and that key project milestones are achieved on time.
  • Prepare scope of work for all marine vessels required for the execution of the project, such as jackup barges, ERRV, guard vessels, and logistics support port.
  • Review technical submissions of all subcontractors and prepare technical bid evaluations.
  • Liaise with Subcontracts department to support them with decision making on the marine and construction subcontractors.
  • Manage construction and marine subcontractors during the preparation, and the execution of the project.
  • Ensure all vessels are accepted by client and MWS, follow up on deficiency and closing outs if required.
  • Candidate is the focal point for company, to ensure subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s procedures and documentations approved by client and MWS.
  • Responsible for managing marine operations and SIMOPS.
  • Liaise with T&I department to understand extent of their scope, and to consider in hookup schedule.
  • Ensure required announcement are done prior to all marine operations as per client procedures.
  • Report progress to Site Manager.
  • Identify and register punches and take necessary action to close them.
  • Assist in the development of daily work plans.
  • Participate in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • More than 5 years of offshore hook-up experience, preferably in renewable \xe2\x80\x93 Offshore Sub Station.
  • Valid North Sea offshore travel fitness medical and BOSIET (offshore survival training).
  • Mechanical/marine/construction engineering management skills.
  • HUP Project/administration management skills.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
