Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong UAE experience in electrical systems within MEP contracting projects and the ability to independently manage site execution, coordination, and technical delivery in line with project requirements and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including LV power distribution, lighting, emergency systems, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV coordination. Review electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations, and method statements to ensure compliance with project and authority requirements (DEWA/SEWA/ADDC, Civil Defence, etc.). Coordinate closely with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal site teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor site progress, manpower, and material usage to achieve project timelines, cost control, and quality standards. Resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site coordination challenges effectively. Ensure strict compliance with QHSE standards, electrical safety regulations, and company procedures. Manage electrical material submittals, technical approvals, inspections, testing reports, and project documentation. Support Project Managers in planning, progress reporting, variation management, and project close-out documentation.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in UAE MEP contracting projects, with strong electrical site exposure. Sound technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and local authority requirements. Proven experience in site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant electrical engineering software. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
