Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and implement electrical designs, shop drawings, and material submittals as per project specifications and RTA standards.

Coordinate with authorities such as RTA, DEWA, Etisalat, DU, and Dubai Municipality for design approvals and inspections.

Supervise site installation of electrical works including street lighting, ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), power distribution, and related infrastructure systems.

Ensure that all electrical installations meet safety and quality standards, adhering to local regulations and project requirements.

Conduct inspections and testing for electrical systems prior to commissioning.

Manage electrical documentation including as-built drawings, test reports, and method statements.

Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and utility teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and assist in maintaining timelines and budgets.

Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and vendor submittals for electrical materials and equipment.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.

Minimum 8+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years in RTA or infrastructure projects within the UAE.

Strong knowledge of RTA, DEWA, and Dubai Municipality standards and procedures.

Experience in street lighting, ITS, LV/MV networks, and utility diversion works.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant electrical design software.

Excellent communication and coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and local authorities.

UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED24,000.00 per month
