Position Overview
Senior Electrical Engineer PMC role in Dubai responsible for overseeing electrical design, installation, and commissioning activities for large-scale villa development projects. The role focuses on design compliance, quality assurance, cost control, safety, sustainability, and coordination with infrastructure systems in line with Dubai regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead review and approval of electrical designs, layouts, and specifications submitted by consultants and contractors
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai regulations, DEWA requirements, and international standards such as IEC and NEC
• Provide technical leadership to optimize electrical systems for energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost effectiveness
• Oversee progress of electrical installations across all villas and ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones
• Coordinate with architects, civil, mechanical, and infrastructure teams for integrated project delivery
• Establish and enforce quality assurance and quality control procedures for all electrical works
• Conduct inspections, audits, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems
• Monitor electrical budgets, review contractor quotations, and recommend cost-effective solutions
• Enforce electrical safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and mitigate site hazards
• Act as the main point of contact for electrical matters between client, consultants, and contractors
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during installation and commissioning stages
• Lead integration of sustainable and smart solutions including LED lighting, smart home systems, and solar power
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams on power distribution networks, substations, cabling, and street lighting

Ideal Profile

• Extensive experience managing electrical works for large residential villa developments
• Strong PMC or consultancy background with hands-on site supervision experience
• Proven leadership capability in multidisciplinary project environments
• Strong understanding of Dubai construction practices and authority approval processes

Skills Set

• Expert knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Strong understanding of DEWA regulations and Dubai electrical codes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related electrical design software
• Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable electrical systems
