Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Focal point of all electrical aspects (Concept, Technical Clarifications, FEED, Engineering, Commissioning and Construction) for OQGN Projects, including modifications, in accordance with the technical standards set to preserve the assets, but not limited to: 1) Serve as SME in their discipline and hence have the skills and know how to identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrical design, construction and installation of infrastructure, to optimize availability and reliability and share best practice. 2) Provide timely technical solutions to improve, optimize project design, and technical specifications.
3) Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for a variety of projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and Act in a consultative manner to bring out the best strategies and approaches to deliver the technical requirements. 4) Liaise with VendoraEUR(TM)s representatives and other departments on all matters relating to Electrical/Power applications quality standards. 5) Be responsible for technical accuracy, quality, and economy of Electrical/Power engineering applications design for projects. 6) Perform quality control checks on electrical designs and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. 7) Ensure that Company Safety and Quality Control Procedures are followed during the execution of all contracts and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all design work. 8) Prepare the necessary documentation for assigned projects, establishing major methods and data as necessary, and ensure the selection of the optimum Electrical/Power design from both technical and economic standpoints. 9) Participate in solving Electrical/Power engineering challenges that are recognised during the development of the Front-End Package or detailed engineering 10) Identify gaps in existing practices and tools and manage the process of developing new practices, standards, procedures or toolkit items that enhance OQGN technological offering. 11) Stay updated with the latest electrical engineering technologies, codes, and standards.
