Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Description:

CONIN is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead electrical design, site execution, and project coordination, ensuring high-quality delivery in line with project requirements and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage electrical engineering works from design to project completion Prepare, review, and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical submissions Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements Monitor site progress to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support Identify and resolve technical issues and propose effective solutions Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage) Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or MEP projects Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution, lighting, earthing, and ELV systems Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit and other electrical design software; familiarity with BIM 360 and Navisworks is advantageous In-depth understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority submission processes Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Professional certification or engineer registration is an advantage
