Job Responsibilities - Electrical Engineer (Consultant)

1. Design and Documentation

Prepare and review electrical design drawings, layouts, and schematics (lighting, power, ELV, and other systems). Develop load schedules, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications. Ensure all electrical designs comply with

SEWA, DEWA, FEWA

, and

local authority

regulations as well as international standards. Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.

2. Authority Approvals

Prepare and submit drawings and documents for

SEWA/DEWA

approval. Coordinate with authority representatives for design review, comments, and final approval. Follow up on submission status and ensure timely approval of all electrical systems.

3. Coordination and Review

Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, structural, and other engineering teams for integrated design solutions. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements from contractors. Attend coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and authorities.

4. Site Supervision and Inspection

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure installations match approved drawings and authority standards. Verify testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems. Report and resolve any design or installation non-conformities.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance

Ensure all electrical works meet safety codes, quality standards, and project specifications. Support in obtaining

completion certificates

and

final approvals

from SEWA/DEWA. Maintain proper documentation of approvals, inspections, and correspondence.

6. Project Management and Reporting

Assist in project scheduling, progress tracking, and technical reporting. Provide continuous technical support throughout design and construction stages. Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and authority approvals.

7. Value Engineering and Sustainability

Recommend energy-efficient and cost-effective electrical solutions. Stay updated with the latest

SEWA/DEWA

regulations and sustainable design practices.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
