Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced

Senior Electrical Engineer

to join our dynamic team and contribute to our prestigious projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in overseeing the electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning for large scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have minimum 06 years of UAE experience in contracting company and demonstrate strong leadership skills, and possess a proactive approach to project execution, quality assurance, and client satisfaction. Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the electrical engineering design, planning, and execution phases of projects, ensuring compliance with local standards and international best practices. Review and approve all electrical drawings, technical specifications, and submittals. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, civil, and MEP consultants to ensure integration and project coherence. Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality, safety standards, and project progress. Manage procurement activities, including vendor negotiations, material selection, and delivery schedules. Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and change management processes. Ensure all electrical work adheres to UAE codes, standards, and safety regulations. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior engineers and technical staff. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to prevent project delays. Facilitate regular meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment and progress.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited university. Minimum of 6 years UAE experience in a contracting environment, with proven project management capabilities. Strong knowledge of UAE electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, MS Office Suite, and relevant engineering software. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Immediate availability is a distinct advantage.
