Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical design and site supervision activities for a range of projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. This position is best suited for a motivated professional with a strong background in engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead electrical design and coordination for various building and infrastructure projects.

Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and technical submittals.

Supervise and inspect electrical works on site to ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (MEP, architecture, structural).

Ensure all works meet DEWA, Etihad Water & Electricity, and other authority requirements.

Conduct regular site visits and technical inspections; issue snag lists and reports.

Participate in design meetings, technical reviews, and progress meetings with stakeholders.

Assist in resolving technical issues and site modifications.

Ensure timely delivery of electrical deliverables and support construction teams as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's is a plus).

Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in the UAE.

Strong background in consultancy engineering (not contracting).

Deep understanding of UAE authority requirements (DEWA, DCD, DM, ADDC, etc.).

Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux, ETAP, Revit, and MS Office.

Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, load schedules, and low/high voltage systems.

Excellent communication, leadership, and report writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

DEWA/ADDC or DCD Accreditation/Approvals.

Membership in professional bodies (e.g., IEEE, Society of Engineers UAE).

PMP or similar certification.

Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or healthcare projects.
