Position:

Senior Electrical Engineer

Years of Experience

Minimum of 5 years in the UAE projects.

JOB PURPOSE

To oversee and manage all electrical works across multiple development projects including residential townhouses, villas, and commercial buildings.
The role ensures coordination between contractors and consultants, compliance with authority regulations, and adherence to project quality, cost, and timeline requirements -- all while representing the client's best interests.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical engineering activities on-site, representing the client.
Coordinate closely with consultants and contractors to ensure seamless integration and delivery of electrical systems.
Review and provide comments on electrical design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Ensure electrical works are executed as per approved specifications, authority guidelines (DEWA, DCD, etc.), and project timelines.
Oversee site execution of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, low voltage, and ELV systems.
Facilitate and attend technical coordination meetings, inspections, and authority interface meetings as needed.
Monitor and report on the progress, quality, cost and safety of electrical installations.
Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems in collaboration with the contractor and consultant teams.
Identify technical risks and propose solutions to avoid delays, cost impact, or quality issues.
Prepare regular technical reports, progress updates, and highlight any design or execution challenges to the Senior Manager - MEP.

Ensure full compliance with

DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other relevant local authorities for all electrical installations.

Support procurement reviews and provide technical input during tender evaluations when required.

Educational Qualification

bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.

Strong knowledge of electrical design, LV systems, and lighting solutions.
Understanding of FEWA/DEWA approvals and UAE electrical standards.

Pay: From AED14,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

UAE driving license (Required)
