Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for various projects. You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful completion of complex electrical systems while meeting safety, performance, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical systems for new and existing projects. This includes power distribution, lighting systems, controls, and instrumentation.

Project Management:

Oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Technical Support & Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members. Review designs and work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and efficient solutions.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all electrical designs comply with local, state, and national codes and standards, including NFPA, NEC, and IEEE. Promote safe work practices and a culture of safety within the team and on job sites.

Problem Solving:

Troubleshoot complex electrical systems and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner, providing innovative solutions to meet project requirements.

Client Interaction:

Communicate with clients to understand project needs, present design concepts, and offer solutions. Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and management.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to drive improvements in design, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).

5+ years of experience

in electrical engineering, with a focus on design, development, and project management. Strong proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit. Solid knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA). Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, and effectively manage multiple projects. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) License. Experience with renewable energy systems, building automation, or power generation. Knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
