Job Purpose

Execute Electrical design activities within Concept, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas projects. Ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery of Electrical design and related deliverables in accordance with project requirements, international codes, and standards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and handle detailed design and engineering activities for the project. Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards. Review and approve electrical design, plans, and layouts. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and client to ensure the integration of electrical systems into the overall project design. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Attend site visit and inspection to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, if required Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met. Participate in project meetings to address electrical engineering related issues. Perform Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor document review.

Functional Responsibilities:

Oversee the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems and equipment. Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets for electrical engineering activities. Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in electrical engineering.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in electrical design software and tools Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for O& G projects. Ability to perform electrical calculations and analysis.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field Relevant experience (12+) in electrical engineering for projects in the oil and gas industry
