We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical systems for large-scale projects in the power sector.

Spearhead the design and development of complex electrical systems for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects Provide technical leadership in protection and control systems, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients Conduct power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and stability analyses Develop detailed engineering specifications, calculations, and technical reports Oversee project execution, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices Engage with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on electrical engineering matters Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in our projects Ensure all designs meet safety standards and environmental regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems Professional Engineering license or equivalent certification; eligibility for UAE engineering registration Extensive knowledge of protection and control systems, relay configuration, and substation secondary systems Proven expertise in power system analysis, modeling, and simulation Strong project management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams Proficiency in industry-standard software tools for electrical design and analysis (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT, AutoCAD) In-depth understanding of international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE) Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams Experience working on projects in the Middle East is highly desirable Willingness to obtain necessary work authorization for the UAE, if not already held
