Key Accountabilities . Prepare the design of a wide range of infrastructure projects involving HV, MV, LV, ELV systems Dry utilities, Utility corridors and substation design, including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like. . Performing electrical engineering services such as: o participating in relevant meetings, o prepare progress reports, o ensuring the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes, o assisting, and advising during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations, and write purchase orders. . Preparing the production of deliverables such as: drawings, specifications, scopes of work, calculations, technical reports, datasheets, tender documentation, requisitions, estimates, budgets, schedules, and technical queries. . Conducting appropriate studies/optioneering of solutions, analyses, and recommendation of suitable actions. . Undertaking and/or reviewing protection coordination, arc flash hazard assessments and defining mitigating solutions. . Undertaking tender bid evaluations. . Providing input and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. . Reviewing vendor documentation and checking interfaces within a brownfield infrastructure project. . Preparing documentation for and participating in project design reviews, HAZIDs/HAZOPs and Safety in Design Workshops. . Preparing or assisting in the preparation of project documentation such as budgets, estimates, forecasts, schedules, and reports. . Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity and cost effectiveness of designs produced. . Following design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work. . Interfacing with other members of the design and management team on multiple discipline projects including with the Global Delivery Centres when required. . Adhering to assigned budgets and schedules. . Assisting in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals. . Checking compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals. . Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System. . Safety - Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices. . HSE - Understand and follow OH&S procedures. Job Specific Skills (knowledge, experience, capabilities, systems, programes) Job Specific Knowledge: . Experience in Industrial Infrastructure sector (preference in the water sector). . Experienced with British, European and International standards and other construction practices. . Experienced in a consulting engineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design (must requirement). . Experienced in the design of a range of: o Dynamic system studies, o Experience with earthing analysis software, CDEGs (desirable), o Experience with system study software package DIgSILENT PowerFactory, o Experience with system study software packages such as ETAP and Power*Tools for Windows, o Delivering electrical detailed design of switchgear, MCCs and LV switchboards, o Electrical calculations required for design, o Preparing design drawings including SLDs, schematics, terminations ad general arrangements, o Preparing ITPs, MTOs, datasheets, specifications, methodologies, procurement, and construction scope of works, o Power systems modelling and analysis for HV and LV electrical systems, protection setting coordination and arc flash analysis, o Protection, earthing, arc-flash and lightning systems studies.

Desirable: . Site experience, equipment inspections, testing and commissioning . Competent in the evaluation of the condition of assessment of existing brownfield industrial projects . Good understanding of arc flash hazard assessment . Experienced in dealing with a variety of clients including developers, government bodies and EPC Contractors. Job Specific Experience: . Relevant design experience in a range of industrial infrastructure projects. Preference will be given to candidates with: · Dubai Municipality registration & DEWA registration. · Experience working in the Middle East. · Experience in industrial infrastructure projects (non-urban buildings or MEP). · Experience in Water Industry Projects- Desalination / Waste water plants, Major Pumping Stations and Port and harbour projects. · Education (qualifications, accreditation, training) · A relevant Bachelor's (BEng) from an accredited university recognised in Dubai (necessary) · Master's Degree in Engineering (MEng) desirable · Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership preferable · Registered With Dubai Municipality & DEWA · Registered with Society of Engineers (Dubai) Moving forward together We want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
