The Role
Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock Middle East (BDBME) is part of Bilfinger SE - Piping Systems Division, with a presence in the Gulf since 1968. The company delivers technology, know-how and products for oil & gas, power and desalination clients in the Gulf region. The companys provides engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) services for turnkey projects, plant rehabilitation and new build as well as efficiency enhancement & lifecycle service solutions. - Carry out Electrical engineering studies, analysis & calculations and develop engineering package including various engineering deliverables. Work in close coordination with \xe2\x80\x9cI&E Designer\xe2\x80\x9d to develop relevant engineering deliverables. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop or technical review of various electrical studies & calculations such power system study, cable sizing calculation, load flow & short circuit study, switchgear, electrical protection coordination study, relay settings etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Review/ Approve all Electrical design/engineering work carried out by third parties (EPC Contractors/Vendors). \xe2\x80\xa2 The feasibility study report inputs clearly indicating the technical requirements, optimum solution and details on Electrical requirements and BOQ / Cost / Schedule. \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must be able to work on Site - Al Ruwais.
- Conversant with International codes & standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, API), OPCO Specifications & Procedures, design criteria relevant to Electrical Engineering, installation/ testing / commissioning etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with Electrical design engineering software tools (ETAP, SPEL etc.)
