Wood is presently inviting application of Senior Electrical Designers for our Abu Dhabi Engineering team.
Responsibiliites
Assist the Lead designer in electrical design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards
Ability to Analyze & understand Client requirements
Ability to develop Bills of Materials
SPEL, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling or 2D Drafting
Electrical equipment layouts, Main Cable Routing. Lighting layouts and SLD\xe2\x80\x99s)
Building Layouts (MCC, IER, Switchgear, Earthing layout, UPS layout)
Electrical standard installation and block diagram
Cable Schedule, load list and Bulk MTO preparations
Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management
Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
Participate in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out
Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas
Skills / Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Electrical or equivalent.
In-depth knowledge of design tools \xe2\x80\x93 AutoCAD / Micro station,
SPEL, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling software experience
Ability to organize and set priorities
Ability to communicate and present effectively
Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing.
Proactive attitude
10+Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Electrical design, minimum 5+ years Engineering consultancy
