Senior Electrical Design Engineer (7+ Years UAE Exp. in High rise buildings)

Qualifications

. Graduate of Electrical Engineer

Job responsibilities & Requirements

. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, equipment, building codes

. Software tools including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Dialux etc.

Responsibilities:

. Responsible for designing electrical LV and ELV systems that ensure efficient electrical systems and controls within buildings as per local codes and standards.

. Collaborate with project teams, Consultant and Client to understand project requirements and objectives.

. Collaborate closely with project managers, MEP engineers, structure, architects and other team members to design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution and ELV systems that meets local codes, project and Client's requirements.

. Prepare shop drawings and calculations in details for lighting, power, structure cabling systems, public address system, fire alarm and emergency lighting, access control system, lightening protection, CCTV, schematic layouts, load distribution calculations, cable sizing, equipment schedules and obtain relevant local authorities' approval.

. Prepare and ensure that project specifications, BOQ, tendering documents to meet project contract as per project requirements.

. Provide technical support during construction phase including material and shop drawings approvals, responding to RFI, inspections, site meetings with suppliers, contractor, client teams and ensure all the installations are within project requirements and as per local codes.

. Liaise with relevant local authorities for design/as built approvals.

. Shall be multitasking and can handle multiple projects with given timelines as per management and senior engineers.
