Primary Responsibilities In the role of Senior Economist, we'll count on you to: . Direct, plan and design research to aid in interpretation of and solution of complex problems with economic relationships . Conduct economic modeling, cost-benefit analysis, and risk or financial analysis . Study economic and statistical data in area of specialization . Devise methods and procedures for collecting and processing data, utilizing knowledge of available sources of data and various econometric and sampling techniques . Formulate recommendations, policies or plans to aid in market interpretation or solution of economic issues . Take responsibility for marketing economic consulting services . Plan and develop project activities with significant impact as needed . Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and support staff as needed . Work at local project sites and have regular client contact as needed . Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications . Master's degree in Economics . Minimum of 10 years experience including staff management and development, client interaction and proposal writing . Experience in Excel, Limdep, SAS, SPSS, Eviews and MS Access . VB programming experience is a plus . Ability to interact with clients on a regular basis .
