- JOB DESCRIPTION Senior Drainage Engineer (Road) Renardet is seeking to employ a Senior Drainage Engineer (Road) The requirements of the position are as follows: Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for the hydrologic and hydraulic design of roads, as well as the analysis of rivers, culverts, storm drains, and bridges. You will work with a team of professionals to provide innovative solutions to complex drainage problems, ensuring that projects meet regulatory requirements and are completed on time and within budget. Qualification: Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required. Skills: The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, proficiency in using specialized software programs such as HEC-RAS, HEC HMS, QGIS, HY8, and AutoCAD, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members, clients, and stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should be able to conduct site visits and fieldwork, analyze data, prepare reports and technical drawings, and develop drainage solutions that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. Overall Experience: At least 10 years of experience in road drainage design and analysis is required. Specific Experience: The candidate must have experience in hydrologic and hydraulic design of roads and the analysis of rivers, culverts, storm drains, and bridges. They must be familiar with industry standards and best practices, and have a proven track record of delivering successful projects
