About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Senior Draftsman

with a strong background in

residential projects

to join our technical team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and managing technical drawings while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project standards. This role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Review and study

IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings

from clients and various trades. Identify

discrepancies, clashes, or inconsistencies

between drawings and report them to the

Technical Manager

in a timely manner. Prepare accurate and clear

shop drawings

in accordance with the project schedule and technical requirements. Ensure timely

submission of shop drawings

for review and approval. Generate

sketches and coordination details

as required by the execution and site teams. Incorporate revisions and updates in shop drawings based on

RFIs (Requests for Information)

and other instructions. Maintain a comprehensive record of all

coordination activities

with other disciplines (MEP, structural, etc.). Prepare and submit

As-Built drawings

for all direct works. Coordinate with specialist contractors to

obtain, verify, and consolidate As-Built drawings

; ensure alignment with main works and secure final approvals.

Skills & Competencies Required

Proficient in

AutoCAD

and other drafting software. Strong knowledge of

architectural and structural detailing

, especially in

residential buildings

. Ability to

read and interpret multi-disciplinary drawings

(architectural, structural, MEP). Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy. Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external contractors. Ability to manage multiple drawing packages within tight timelines.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in

Civil / Architectural Engineering

or equivalent. Minimum

6-8 years of experience in Dubai

as an AutoCAD Draftsman, specifically on residential projects. Knowledge of UAE construction standards and regulations is essential.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
