Job Description

The Senior Draftsman is responsible for preparing, producing, and modifying detailed landscape shop drawings, including hardscape, softscape, topographical surveys, and existing condition plans. The Draftsman also manages documentation and ensures all designs meet the required project specifications and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare hardscape and softscape shop drawings. Develop utility coordination drawings and ensure alignment with design requirements. Create topographical survey and existing condition drawings to reflect the project site accurately. Adjust design drawings to accommodate existing site conditions. Ensure hardscape plans align with consultant-provided designs, resolving discrepancies where necessary. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to integrate design requirements into shop drawings. Review drawings to meet project specifications, standards, and feedback from stakeholders. Use AutoCAD to create, modify, and finalize shop drawings. Manage documentation and filing systems for drawings and project records.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as draftsman in Landscape practice. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
